Medical Rehabilitation
According to the WHO global disability action plan 2014–2021: better health for all people with disability, habilitation and rehabilitation can reduce the impact of a broad range of health conditions (such as diseases and injuries) by assisting individuals who experience, or are likely to experience, disability, to achieve and maintain optimal functioning in interaction with their environments.
Given the importance of medical rehabilitation in assisting people with disabilities in living independently, experiencing a high quality of life and actively contributing to society, EPR members join forces to share practices and expertise to ensure the highest level of quality of the services and outcomes.
