LernBAR - Learning based on Augmented Reality - an inclusive training concept for home economics

The aim of the research and development project "LernBAR" is to qualify people with disabilities through the use of digital media for the first job market. The project focuses on learning based on augmented reality (AR) applications. In addition, the project wants to modernize the domestic training courses. On the one hand, it aims to increase its attractiveness for future apprentices and, on the other hand, to ensure the future viability of training in view of changing societal needs.

For this purpose, an adapted curriculum for home-based training occupations is developed and tested. Similarly, trainers and teachers should be trained in the use of digital media and their digital teaching skills should be developed. A strategic focus of the project is the development and expansion of networks to disseminate and ensure the sustainability of the project results. The network partners include training companies, companies with domestic tasks vocational colleges, chambers as well as professional and trade associations.
