Particip.Age: Online training course for staff working with Ageing People with Intellectual Disabilities

Particip.AGE is an Erasmus + funded project with the aim of supporting community participation and social inclusion of Ageing People with Intellectual Disabilities.

Training course for professionals working with ageing people with intellectual disabilities

Project partners designed this e-learning course for staff who assist ageing people with disabilities to live independent and full lives. It provides staff with essential skills and tools to effectively meet the unique and diverse needs of this vulnerable group, including:

  • Gaining an understanding of their specific needs and rights

  • Developing stronger collaboration and relationship-building skills with both individuals and community-based service providers

  • Enhancing communication skills tailored to this population.

The course aims to improve staff’s ability to deliver high-quality care to this vulnerable group.
